Farm Stand, Farmers’ Markets and CSAs

CR Farm Share Program

Enjoy a variety of produce each week while supporting our farm and agriculture program. Current Students receive 20%. To receive the student rate, you must be full-time and will need your Spring or Fall 2020 class schedule with you when signing up. Student discounts are not applied to eggs

Pick-ups will be on campus once per week. Tentative pick-up day plans*:

  • The 20 week share is tentatively planned for Wednesday afternoon during the summer.• Once fall semester begins, the pick-up day for both the 20 and 10 week share is tentatively planned for Tuesday afternoon
  • .If you are unable to pick up your share during the scheduled pick-up time, your share will be donated.
  • We put in effort to provide our CSA members with a wide variety of crops throughout the season. This is a fun and challenging part of operating a CSA, and hope that our members enjoy the unique varieties we grow. However, if you only like certain produce we grow at the farm, we suggest you instead shop at our Campus Farm Stand. View the events calendar at lfyi.551827.com/events for planned Farm Stand days and times.
Other Farmers' Markets

Farmers’ Markets in Humboldt County accept CalFresh. Click here to view the farmers’ market schedules and to see information about Market Match, a bonus program that helps you stretch your CalFresh dollars at farmers’ markets in Arcata, Eureka and McKinleyville, in addition to the Fortuna and Garberville.

CSA is a partnership between a farm and community of supporters. CSA members commit to a farm to a whole growing season by purchasing a CSA share. The farmer then provides each member with a weekly distribution of seasonal produce at the peak of peak of ripeness and nutrition.
